LIBRARY
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
1. All
the students and outsiders entering the Library shouldl deposit their bags and
other belongings at the entrance and sign in the Register at the Circulation
Counter.. Library Authorities are not responsible for any loss of
personal belongings.
2.
Identity Card is
compulsory for getting access to the
library.
3 The newspaper(s) should be folded properly
after reading and should be kept back in the
designated place.

Students should not deface,
mark, cut, mutilate or damage library resources in any way. If anyone is found
doing so, he/she will be charged the full replacement cost of the resource.
Books Borrowed should be protected from RAIN, DUST, INSECT, etc.

. Conversation and
discussion disturbs library ambiencs. Therefore, all are
requested to maintain dignified silence. If
discussion is necessary, the common room
should be utilized for the same.
6. Smoking is not permitted in the Library.
7.No
visitor or guest is permitted to use the Library without the prior permission
of
the
Librarian. He/She is required to produce a proper introduction letter from the
concerned
Institution/Organization to which he/she is attached.
8. No
photograph of the Library shall be taken without the prior permission of the
Librarian.
9. All
students are advised to come to the Library in decent dress as they are in
the
classrooms.
10.Use
of Mobile is strictly prohibited.
11 .One book will be
issued at a time for (Blue Card) 7days and must be returned on or before due
date.
12. One book will be
issued at a time for (White Card)2 days and must be
returned
on or before due date.
13. Demand slip should
be submitted to the in charge circulation section before
5.00pm. One day prior
to the day of issue.
13. The
book will not be issued unless the borrower`s card is produced. The card will be returned to the readers only when the
books are returned.
14. Books
for reference in the library only will be issued on presentation of the
Identity card.

.An overdue charge of Rs.1.00 per day per book will be charged if a book
is
kept beyond the period of loan.
16.Readers
must satisfy themselves about the physical conditions of the book before
borrowing otherwise they will be held responsible for any damage or mutilation
noticed at the time of returning.
17.The transfer of borrower`s card is strictly
prohibited. The borrower card holders should come personally to the borrow the
books and the authorization is not allowed.
18.Every student should
maintain the Silence and obey the Library Rules and
Regulations.
19.
Any student violating the Library Rules and Regulations will not be allowed to
the
Library.
21.
Beverages and Eatables are not allowed inside the Library.
22. Library reserves
the right to call back any issued Book/Item at any time.

box isavailable at the circulation desk for your use.
25.
No readers is allowed to sleep in library premises.
26.
Loss of books three times of face value of the books will be charged or replace
the book.
